Spring Time!

It's almost spring. The weather is warming up, the days are getting longer and there is that fresh feeling in the air. On my way home from work I had my shades on and the windows down enjoying the bright sunshine and fresh air. I saw a large crowd gathered for a church softball game and a smaller group of nieghborhood kids throwing a baseball around.

Yup. Spring is here.

God is at Work

We don't always see what God is doing, even if we could see it we might not understand it. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."    -- Isaiah 55:8-9

It is comforting to know that he is thinking about us and taking care of us. "Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." -- Psalm 40:5

Even if we feel discouraged we can rely on the unchanging truth of God's word. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." --Romans 8:28

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." -- 1 Corinthians 15:58

Faith is visualizing what God intends to do and acting in harmony with it. 

Wisdom is seeing life as God sees it.
